Last weekend riverorchid Myanmar helped launch SQUAR, a mobile social platform connecting the Myanmarese with an accessible platform to meet, connect and share with no boundaries, no limits.
The event, dubbed the SQUAR Youth Festival, was held at the outdoor performance area of Junction Square, one of Yangon’s most popular shopping centres.
The SQUAR Youth Festival was sponsored by MWD Digital channel, Unilever’s Pond’s and Clear Men, Ooredoo, Coca-Cola as well as HTC, DragonAir and MacCoffee. At one point there where close to 8,000 people at the event enjoying games, lucky draws and performances from Myanmar’s hottest celebrities.
This event is just one step of many the whole of Myanmar is taking towards a society that celebrates freedom to gather, to share and to express one’s self.
